Does the long term use of the Connector damage the carpets?
The quality is practiced and it is a long lasting system. Additionally you have a double aged system as you can use both sides of the carpets. If individual fibres come loose over time, carefully cut these off with scissors.
What do I have to be careful about cleaning my Felice carpet?
Felice Carpets are low-maintenance. Depending on use, you should regularly vacuum their surface with a smooth nozzle. Turning them over months a month prevents “channels” (areas frequently walked on) and keeps the carpet looking consistently good. Liquids should be removed immediately with a strongly absorbent wipe and rinsed with clear water. Beating on fresh snow is a classic and very efficient cleaning method.
Am I allowed to purchase as a private person directly at your company?
At the moment we are building up a world-wide distributor network. With pleasure we will take your order and forward it to a Felice-partner.
Which wools do you use for the production of the Felice carpets?
The wools used for Felice are selected specifically for use in carpet weaving. They are particularly bulky, heavy-duty and age-resistant. All yarns are spun and milled in our own spinning mill. As a result of the proceedings the individual yarn fibres become matted and maintain a particularly good bond.
What are the attitudes of sheep’s wool?
Sheep’s wool is a renewable raw material. All wools for Felice are selected in accordance with environmental standards and contain no insecticides. Sheep’s wool is self-cleaning. Its natural portion of lanolin keeps the fibres vital and protects them from severe soiling. Sheep’s wool takes up to 33 % of its own weight in moisture from ambient air and releases this again if the environment is dry. It thus helps to regulate the indoor living climate. Felice carpets are made of 100 % natural fibres. They are thus 100% recyclable and contribute to the environment in this way.
